A compassionate and professional former police officer, now a CASAC-T and Mental Health Counseling intern, dedicated to guiding individuals toward lasting recovery and emotional well-being. With a strong foundation in interpersonal communication and interviewing, I create an empathic, supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered to make meaningful changes.
I have facilitated court-mandated substance use disorder groups focused on relapse prevention, psychoeducation, recovery skills, and DWI interventions, using evidence-based practices to promote accountability and growth. In individual counseling sessions, I help clients navigate substance use challenges, co-occurring mental health concerns, and personal recovery goals with a holistic, client-centered approach.
Combining my background in law enforcement with clinical training in mental health and addiction counseling, I bring a balanced perspective that integrates structure, empathy, and evidence-based care to support every client’s journey toward recovery and resilience.
