Individuals with all abilities can work through challenges with the guidance and support of an attuned and authentic counselor. I believe the quality of relationships is the greatest agent for therapeutic change. Using a humanistic, person-centered and family systems approach, I strive to create a safe, non - judgemental space. Together we will explore, understand and help you heal from within. Whether you are seeking help individually, within a family or as a parent, I will offer you a warm drink and a place to exhale.
With younger clients (and their grown ups), I use a variety of play, attachment, creative expression, and talk therapy approaches. Treatment approaches depend on the needs and interests of the client. Developmentally, and with the support of a trained therapist, children express their inner worlds and big feelings through play.
Certified in yoga, mindfulness and MBSR, I often integrate these techniques, along with polyvagal theory, to help clients, especially those with trauma become better attuned to their body. I will support you in developing skills for regulating the body and mind to enhance clarity and emotional well-being.

I have over 25 years experience working with children, adolescents and families within the school system as a school psychologist. In this role, I have learned the ways in which we are able to best support students and their families navigate academic, behavioral and social challenges. As a mental Health Counselor, I am able to apply my background and understanding of school systems to help you navigate similar challenges, as well as delving deeper to support you and your family’s unique needs.
