I am a compassionate and collaborative Licensed Mental Health Counselor Intern dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate emotional, relational, and life transition challenges. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems principles, with a strong emphasis on helping clients understand how thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships are interconnected.
I bring over a decade of experience working in educational and community-based settings as a school counselor, college and career access leader, and financial literacy educator. This background shapes my clinical work today by allowing me to meet clients with patience, structure, and a practical focus on growth. I help clients identify unhelpful patterns, build emotional awareness, and develop coping strategies that support long-term well-being.
In my work within schools and community settings, I have seen the significant need for
therapeutic support beyond the classroom. I am committed to providing a safe, respectful space where clients and families can process challenges, strengthen communication, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels supportive and collaborative.
I am passionate about walking alongside clients as they build resilience, gain clarity, and move forward with greater confidence and self-understanding.
